If Gaga Started Out In 1998, How Would It Affect Britneys Career?

I honestly don't think gaga would have been that big back then. Her outrageous gimmicks would have been too much for the generation of parents back then. The reason she is decent know is because people have become more open minded. In all aspects music, sexuality, etc. Parents wouldn't have bought the cd for their kids back then. (We had no choice but to have CDs, some of you younger fans don't know about that). Britney was a shock to parents with her sexual ways, and that wasn't that crazy. Gaga would have blown their minds. The generations have changed that is why gaga is even in music today.

She came out at the right time with the right generation. Just as britney did with her generation of fans.

Britney was super sexy and could dance like crazy she would have slayed anyway

Lady blah blah would have faded like she is now, Eminem would have destroyed her back then anyway(those gmmicks, her looks and tranny rummors), she would have gone back at him cos she always has to prove a point and the she would have been finshed by him anyway. She put all the gimmicks that should a whole career into 4 years.

The Gagster would've been too extreme and polarizing a figure to garner any mass audience. When she first came out she was "controversial"; if she came out with the same gay marriage support and outrageous behavior back in the 90s, she woulda got shut down super quick. Support of gay marriage and equality is a pretty recent thing in America tbh :tbh:
