It's not real life.

Violent video games are for fun. It's not like the games are telling you to get in a car and start running people over.

The only people that kill people and inspire ideas from video games are already crazy and the video game gave them ideas.

Violent Games like GTA and Saints Row don't make people kill others.

Games like GTA are no different than rated R movies, we don't ban them, and it's not really necessary to ban them. Games rated A for Adult are already banned in stores.

Plus, there's still a ton of games, ex. Final Fantasy, which would be rated PG 13/14 if it were a movie lol

I don't think they should be banned or censored...maybe only regulated by age, like movies. I guess you are supposed to be a certain age to buy games, but I have never been carded or heard of anyone

I feel this way about most stuff. Society (not the legal system) should demand sexism, racism, homophobia, bigotry, and other social concerns be wiped out...but you do that by voting w your dollar and spreading discussion, or promoting games that are creative and not exploitative and repetitive.

If consumers demand more refinement in a game, then the developers will have to be more creative. I do agree that alot of senseless exploitation goes on in games, which is why I prefer classic gaming bcuz it revolved around imagination and creativity...not like tits + fire + explosions + cuss words + blood/gore + other "macho" stereotypes....there's no imagination in that, but I don't think it should be banned or censored.
