I don't usually post about my personal life on here but i don't mind sharing this topic.

In a few hours my mom's 4 year anniversary will begin

I'm always a wreck on this day especially since she died one day before my birthday (August 13th)

I suffer from depression and it's hard to live a normal life sometimes.

Robin Williams suffered from it...

Today he ended his life

After hearing this news i'm a major wreck today.

Life is too precious to end it. If anyone is ever feeling like they want to kill themselves please don't and get help...

I wanted to end my life once but i didn't and you know i totally got a better look on life. I met amazing people who helped me grow and love life more. If anyone needs someone to talk too please PM me. I'm always on.

I send you my love and light

Depression is a medical condition, and it is a major topic of research in science right now. It is serious, and it is underdiagnosed and often diagnosed late because people feel shame and embarrassment...which is a major ill in our society today

The most important thing you can do, whether or not you are clinically depressed, is to reach out for help. It takes courage and is admirable when someone realizes they cannot do something alone. Humans are a social creature, and even as advanced as we are now our civilization rests on the collective efforts of many people and institutions.

If you feel embarrassed try and consider that your act of reaching out is touching to the person you trust w your feelings and your situation...and every person who has ever reached out to me, has given me inspiration and I have nothing but love and admiration for their courage.

I truly believe that for mankind to progress and rise above our current problems, it will eventually require a global cooperation. If one of us isn't free then we're all to blame

Depression is a very disabling mental illness that needs more recognition. I've suffered from it in the past as well. A lot of suicides occur because of it....

If anyone needs help feel free to talk to me as well. I will try to help in any way I can. Don't be afraid to see a therapist as well. Before I first went to one I was afraid people would make fun of me if they knew or I would be labeled crazy, but therapists really do know what they are doing and can be life savers!

Guest Zooey Deschanel

its not easy and its terrible but sometimes its the only way out

people judge it so its the best to just prepare it.

and its not their life. its your life and you own it and you choose what to do with him

its easier and better to end it all than suffer and live in a shame, pain, abuse, depression. its better to just end it all with at least SOME dignity.

(speaking from my experience not about other people)

I'm honestly scared for my Sister she has depression and she is also bipolar, she also has a 6 year old daughter. I feel that she might end it someday. She also shows it on her face a lot but she does her best to be happy for her life, her family, and her daughter. I worry about her a lot. I know I can't do anything about it but how do you deal with it. I know she won't take therapy she has tired before but it didn't work for her. She is doing a lot better not as sick as she was when she was younger but it still scares me.

There are so many kinds of depressions.

Mine comes and goes and it's not as bad. Just some days are worse than others.

But if you really feel like she would do something you should do everything you can. Because god forbid something does happen you don't want the thought of knowing you could have done something to stop it.
