adrenaliner 136 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 wasn't promoted enough, not different enough, didn't do anything shocking. her albums were one of the best that disney has released, she has amazing voice, she is good looking and she is not irritating. Caroline77 2,600 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 I don't know, some of her songs are ok, but i can't stand her voice so.. But i think maybe HSM was a part of it. She was, with Vanessa, the star of these movies so maybe people couldn't take them really seriously as singers because they were identified as the "high school musical stars". So they probably punished her for it. I bet they asked her if she wants to get naked and sing about sex like Miley but she declined.
