People think Britney lost her "fame power"

Recommended Posts

But let's get real. Do you guys remember when Britney went on Jimmy Fallon and got like a one minute standing ovation? No one ever forgot the influence and power Britney had on the media and the world. The problem is she kind of disappeared and became reclusive because of her anxiety or whatever. She is still that BITCH! People know Britney and the legacy she left behind. She might just have some social anxiety issues which prevents her from promoting as much.

Look at J.Lo. She has been a major flop for so many years and she still gets so many views because she stays in the limelight.

I'm just saying, our Queen Britney would get double the views and stuff if she chose to stay in the limelight, she is just too private and kind of anti-social.

She doesn't need to sell albums or singles anymore. She just needs to get comfortable with the public and stuff so she could still have that crazy influence she had. I am so happy she is finally getting comfortable enough to do interviews and certain things and be herself. Social Anxiety is no joke! I had it for years (still do) and it makes you want to become super reclusive when you never were. Like I didn't leave the house for months when it was the worst time in my life. only to get haircuts and stuff. And I was the same person who won a bunch of school-awarded awards in my yearbook! More then anyone else! For some people they always have it, for others it just comes on later on in life or after a series of unfortunate events... But I think at this stage of her career she should just go and promote some more, show her personality now that she's more comfortable and have fun again. She is not forgotten, she just kind of made herself forgotten by being too scared. But the Glory era, she had so many incredible radio interviews and the interviews she did in the UK were so good.

She will be back with vengeance. Y'all will see!

I'd like if everyone forget this word "Bit**" and stop calling her with this word....It's Britney...SPEARS!

Also, im nowdays its really NOT like in the past. Everyone overrate her for her past like child, and se should have face to the reality that she is NOT fame like in the past. And only stupid people paying money for lip-sync with zero live vocals. And I must wait for something what makes Britney and her team finally start do something for sing at least sometimes something live and not just dancing Zumba shit with CD player.

I don't know why people want her to sing live? She literally lip-synched 90% of her career. I can understand wanting better choreography, better props, a bigger show, etc but live singing? This is Britney. Not Alanis Morissette lol.

She just needs to release some catchy pop songs and cool music videos. That's what made her famous, and that's what people remember as her legacy.

Unfortunately I don't think she wants to be out there anymore, because if she wanted, her company would release more singles and music videos every era. She isn't top level sales-wise, but she still brings in A LOT of money from her shows, sponsors and stuff like that. And I see much smaller female artists get 3 or 4 music videos and a lot of promotional content with half her sales, popularity or fanbase. She is just tired of being out there, so she does a little bit here and there to stay in the industry.

I don't think she's scared as much as she has different priorities. People love to joke about it but she IS a mom now and her boys are obviously her top priority. And I think it's perfectly ok. Britney gave us so much in the beginning the fact that she still continues to give us anything at all after what she's been through is more than enough. She's earned the right to do what she wants as far as her career goes, and like @edurance said, I don't believe she wants to be that top "it girl" anymore. She's happy with a lighter work load, and I'm happy she's happy.

Her name still brings in viewers for award shows and other stuff, the demand for her is still there, so I’m damn sure she could be on top again if she wanted to be, we see in rehearsals that the girl can still fucking bring it, but the fact that she waters shit down on the stage is proof that it’s not a question of can she, but her wanting it.

Fans just need to learn to accept that her career takes a back seat to her kids, perhaps that will change once their 18 and have more independence, who knows?? She was overworking herself majority of her career, she’s earned the right to take things easy.
