The Reverend replied to wontstoptilyoubreatheheavy's topic in CelebritiesI don't understand the logic here. Why release concert DVDs as cinema-release movies? Obviously, it is greed. Make fans pay up to $10 dollars to see it once, and then charge them 4 times as much to actually own the "full version" on DVD. Because the movie and marketing cost relatively little (compared to most movies), it may save itself. The film is only a flop if it fails to cover the costs of making it. Although, this is a very bad start for most films.
Are you being serious? I understand not having heard of Bellefire. They only had a few songs released outside of Ireland. Most Northern Irish people haven't heard of them either. But George Michael and Garth Brooks are 2 of the biggest selling artists ever. In fact, Brooks sold more albums than Elvis Presley (it wasn't even close) but he refused to accept the world record because he felt that Elvis was more famous. I could post some of their well-known songs, but I think instead I shall post their more unappreciated hits: George Michael Garth Brooks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLjiq8CswR8 Bellefire
The Reverend replied to Urbanney's topic in GeneralHow many times has she been married? Three times? One marriage ending is unfortunate, but it happens. But she is still quite young. She should not have 3 ended marriages at her age. It is clear that she chooses her partners based on physical attraction above anything else. She will not find happiness until she starts looking for more. I think the guy has a hot body (minus that weird tattoo). But that is it. It is clear that J'Lo is repeating a bad pattern. I hope she can find proper happiness.
The Reverend replied to Goten21's topic in GeneralI am a massive Jennifer Lawrence fan. She was brilliant in both Hunger Games, and as Mystique in X-Men: First Class. Then Silver Linings Playbook. And the stuff she does at awards shows She doesn't belong in that environment, she knows it, but she is not about to change herself to fit into it. My worry is that Hollywood will realise just how hot she is right now. Then she will be doomed to a series of bad scripts and characters. Then she will get the blame for not making bad films into major money makers.
When I started joining forums, I was big into Irish mythology. So I started using the username RagNaRoc. Both the RagNaRoc and Ragnarok are creatures and weapons from European mythology. Some of my friends began to call me 'Rag'. On another site, a bunch of athiest members started causing a lot of trouble. If you don't believe in God, that is fine by me. But these guys were causing a lot of crap for those who did, and then telling the admins that we were starting it. So I updated my stuff to 'Reverend RagNaRoc'. I had always planned to change it back after a while. Sadly, the word "Rag" took on a new definition in my country. One that heavily contradicts my heritage and what I believe in. I struggled to think of any other user name that I liked. So I shortened it to 'The Reverend', as it had grown on me.
I am sure most of you are the same, but my top 3 keeps changing. But in all seriousness, here are the 3 artists that reach the top more often than others. 1. George Michael 2. Garth Brooks 3. Bellefire (Very short lived Irish girl-band).
I'm the opposite. I have seen some messed up things (which I won't go into here). I have a really strong stomach for such stuff. Blood really doesn't bother me at all. It is just that one piercing the skin thing. I don't mind piercings, but when other things are piercing the skin, yuck!
I hate foreign objects piercing skin. It is a weird phobia, as I am not bothered by gore. I mean, I am the sort of guy you want around in an emergency. I have helped people with stab wounds and cracked skulls. I am not squeamish in any way. Unless of course, you have a wooden stick or a needle in your skin.
